New Subaru Crosstrek Inventory

Compare Subcompact Crossovers in Bethlehem, PA

With its spacious accommodations, flexible cargo capacity, and many desirable features, the Subaru Crosstrek is among the most well-rounded subcompact crossovers in its class. It's also one of the best performers beyond the asphalt, thanks to standard attributes like Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, X-MODE® traction management, and at least 8.7 inches of ground clearance. It's a great choice for Atlanta drivers seeking comfort, practicality, and adventure-ready capability in a conveniently sized package.

The 2024 Crosstrek has been made even better thanks to a third-gen redesign with handsome styling, upgraded features, and an all-new Subaru Wilderness trim. While the subcompact crossover segment has plenty of options, the Subaru Crosstrek's all-around versatility is hard to beat. To show you what we mean, here's a quick look at how it measures up to another prominent class competitor, the 2024 Honda HR-V.

2024 Subaru Crosstrek vs. Honda HR-V: Performance

The Subaru Crosstrek and Honda HR-V both have 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines with continuously variable transmissions, making them closely matched for standard performance. The HR-V has a slight edge in horsepower (158 vs. 152), while the Crosstrek generates a bit more torque (145 vs. 138 pound-feet). However, every Subaru Crosstrek includes Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, providing confident handling and control in all Pennsylvania seasons. The Honda HR-V's available AWD system is adapted from a front-wheel-drive layout and isn't standard in any configuration.

Are you shopping for something with a little more internal motivation? Crosstrek Sport, Limited, and Wilderness trims utilize a 2.5-liter BOXER® engine with 182 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. The Honda HR-V doesn't offer a performance upgrade.

2024 Subaru Crosstrek vs. Honda HR-V: Capability

In addition to Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and 8.7 inches of ground clearance, every 2024 Crosstrek includes Subaru X-MODE®. This advanced traction management system automatically configures the throttle response, transmission ratio, braking, and AWD torque split to improve grip on slippery surfaces, uneven terrain, hill climbs, or steep descents.

For outdoor enthusiasts seeking even better off-road prospects, the all-new Crosstrek Wilderness adds Yokohama® GEOLANDAR® all-terrain tires, terrain-tuned suspension, and 9.3 inches of ground clearance. A special dual-function X-MODE® system adds settings for Deep Snow/Mud, while a transmission oil cooler increases the Crosstrek's max towing capability from 1,500 to 3,500 pounds. Every Crosstrek above the base trim gets raised roof rails. However, the Wilderness trim's reinforced roof rails have a stationary load limit of 700 pounds, ideal for a rooftop tent.

The Honda HR-V has just seven inches of ground clearance, and its optional all-wheel drive system is more suited to on-road driving. The HR-V's max trailer rating is 1,500 pounds, and roof rails are limited to a costly accessory.

2024 Subaru Crosstrek vs. Honda HR-V: Technology

Both crossovers equip their base models with a 7-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. However, choose any of the Crosstrek's higher trims, and you'll get the new 11.6-inch touchscreen and cable-free connectivity via wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The HR-V reserves its largest nine-inch touchscreen and wireless smartphone integration for its top-tier EX-L trim.

Both models come standard with a suite of advanced driver-assistance features, including forward collision mitigation, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. However, the Crosstrek has a more capable "Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering" system. It also comes standard with steering-responsive LED headlights, a feature you won't find in any HR-V configuration.
