With the Legacy Sport and Touring XT, you'll enjoy a more powerful 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Subaru BOXER® engine. This option can produce up to 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. Whichever powertrain you choose, you'll enjoy smooth gear shifts thanks to a continuously variable transmission.

Performance

With the base 2.5-liter engine, you can expect to drive up to 27 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. The turbocharged 2.4-liter engine has a slightly lower fuel economy, driving up to 23 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Vehicle Dynamics Control come standard on all Legacy models.

Interior

The base Legacy comes with cloth seats and a 60/40 folding rear seat that gives you convenient access to the trunk. Its sedan style offers 39.4 inches of headroom and 42.8 inches of legroom in the front with 37.2 inches of headroom and 39.5 inches of legroom in the back. You'll also find 15.1 cubic feet of trunk space and adjustable seats in the front. Subaru also includes both USB-A and USB-C ports on some of the higher trim levels.

Tech

Subaru STARLINK® turns your touchscreen into the ultimate multimedia center. The standard dual 7.0-inch touchscreen displays give you access to Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ as well as various settings. This makes it easy to listen to your favorite tunes or a good audiobook. Right next to the touchscreen is a matching 7.0-inch instrument cluster that helps you monitor your speed and view other info. The Legacy also comes with a standard automatic climate control system and four speakers.
